About Bier Maps

Bier Maps is a directory of Hawaii's craft breweries, brewpubs, and taprooms — where to drink local beer across the islands.

The problem

Hawaii has a small-but-real craft beer scene — more than a dozen breweries scattered across four islands. Yelp lists each one like any restaurant. Google Maps shows a pin. Neither tells you what they're known for, what's on tap, or whether they're even open this afternoon. We're fixing that.

How we collect data

  1. We start with public info — brewery websites, social, official listings — to seed each entry with hours, flagship beers, and styles.
  2. A human verifies every entry by visiting or contacting the brewery before it's marked confirmed.
  3. Brewers can claim their page and submit updates whenever hours change or a new beer drops.

Are you a brewer?

If we have your brewery listed and something's wrong, email contact@islandandpine.com with the correction and we'll update within 48 hours.

Want to claim your page and start submitting your own hours, beer lineup, and tap-takeover announcements? See our brewer page.

Coming soon

The next layer of the directory will track what's on tap, at which bars, on which dates — pulling tap-takeover announcements and rotating beer lists from brewery and venue posts. Today is the brewery-directory foundation; tap-lists land next.
