Hawai'i Standard Time Brewing
Lihue craft taproom opened April 2026 by two part-time teachers — math teacher Paul Schmitz and physics teacher (and aerospace engineer) Skyler Lassman — who met through the Hawai'i Home Brew Club. Small-batch (~100-gallon) tropical IPAs, lagers, sours, and stouts on up to 20 taps, with rotating food trucks instead of a kitchen.
